Getting Started with Booga Enterprise

Welcome to Booga Enterprise — an AI-driven enterprise platform that brings intelligent chat, knowledge management, analytics, file storage, and much more into a single workspace. This guide walks you through your first login, the dashboard layout, and the quickest ways to get productive.

First Login

Access the Platform

  1. Navigate to your organization's Booga Enterprise URL.
  2. Click Sign In. You are redirected to your organization's identity provider (Azure AD / SSO).
  3. Complete authentication. On success you land on the Dashboard.

Tip: Bookmark the login page so you can return quickly.

Complete Your Profile

After your first login you may see a welcome screen. Take a moment to:

  • Verify your display name and email
  • Set your preferred timezone and notification settings
  • Review the role badge shown in the header (e.g. User, Admin)

If your tenant administrator has not yet provisioned resources, you will see a Workspace Access tab with instructions on next steps.

Understanding the Dashboard

The dashboard is your central hub. It is built from three areas: the sidebar, the header bar, and the main content area with tabbed views.

The left sidebar gives you quick access to every section of the platform:

  • Dashboard — returns you to the main tabbed view
  • Plugin pages — each enabled feature (Chat, Files, Knowledge, Agents, and more) appears as a sidebar link that opens its dedicated page
  • Admin Portal — visible if you have administrator permissions

You can collapse the sidebar to a narrow icon strip to give yourself more screen space, and expand it again at any time.

Header Bar

The top header bar contains:

  • Product selector — switch between products if your tenant has more than one
  • Stack selector — choose the AI infrastructure stack when multiple are available
  • Company search — quickly find organizations and resources
  • Background tasks — a spinner that appears while long-running operations complete
  • User info — your name and a menu for account actions
  • Pin / unpin toggle — pin the header so it is always visible, or unpin it so it auto-hides when you scroll and reappears when you hover near the top of the page

Dashboard Tabs

When you are on the main /dashboard route, the content area is organized into tabs. The available tabs depend on your product configuration and permissions. Common tabs include:

  • Overview — a high-level summary of activity and quick-start cards
  • Analytics — charts and dashboards for usage and performance
  • Reports — generated reports and exports
  • Settings — workspace-level configuration (chat personas, AI settings, and more)

You can reorder tabs, close optional ones, or add them back from the tab bar.

Plugin Pages

Click any plugin link in the sidebar to open its full-page view. For example:

  • Chat — AI-powered conversations with knowledge search, personas, and file attachments
  • Files — upload, organize, preview, and share documents
  • Knowledge — semantic search across your organization's knowledge base
  • Agents — configure and run AI agent workflows

Each plugin page has its own interface, but the sidebar and header remain available so you can switch context at any time.

Mobile and Tablet

Booga Enterprise is fully responsive. On smaller screens:

  • The sidebar becomes a slide-out drawer opened with the hamburger menu
  • Dashboard tabs move into a swipeable drawer
  • The header condenses action buttons into an overflow menu

Getting Help

Contextual Help Button

Look for the floating ? button in the bottom-right corner of every page. It opens a help panel with content relevant to the page you are on, including:

  • A quick overview of the current feature
  • Answers to common questions
  • Links to the full user guide

Guided Tours

Interactive tours walk you through a feature step by step. You can start a tour from the help panel whenever one is available for the current page. Tours highlight key UI elements and explain what each one does.

Open the help panel and use the search bar to find any topic across the entire documentation library.

  1. Explore the sidebar — open each plugin page to see what is available
  2. Take a guided tour — click the help button and choose Start Tour on any page that offers one
  3. Try the Chat — ask the AI a question and see knowledge search in action
  4. Upload a file — go to Files and drag a document to get started with file management
  5. Customize your tabs — reorder or add dashboard tabs to match your workflow
